EXPERIENCE
Michael Dunn has more than 20 years of experience advising international companies, organizations and individuals on U.S. law. In his career, he has worked for a well known Wall Street law firm and international investment bank and has lived in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He enjoys finding creative solutions to complicated problems and loves spending time with his family.
Michael opened his MDL legal practice to advise primarily on U.S. immigration law. The MDL legal team represents businesses, including investors, employers and employees, as well as individuals and families in the U.S. immigration process. It consults in a number of languages and is available in different time zones around the world, including its main New York office. MDL’s primary goal is, and always will be, customer satisfaction. MDL is committed to excellence and strives to provide outstanding services to its customers.
In prior years, Michael worked for Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP advising on cross border financial transactions, business combinations and regulatory and compliance issues. As a transactional lawyer, he routinely advised on offering, listing, registration and reporting requirements, and guided companies through the SEC-registration process. He has advised on internal controls, risk management, FCPA, OFAC financial reporting and disclosure. He enjoyed developing business for and helping manage the Davis Polk Tokyo office. He has in-house experience working for Deutsche Bank as a DCM secondee where he over saw a variety of debt offerings.
